Token copy unicity

I have a question about token copy.
What will happen if I play Ulthok while I already control one and Zaakuul?

I see 2 cases:
Unicity is kept on the token:
- I invoke Ulthok => ban a card
- I detroy old Ulthok to meet unicity, Zaakuul creates a copy token => ban a card
- There is still one token of Ulthok and the pervious card, I destroy the card I just added, Zaakuul creates a new token => ban a card
- then are 2 tokens now, I destroy one of them

I banned 3 cards and have one token Ulthok left

Unicity is not kept:
I destroy first Ulthok when I add my new, Zaakuul still creates a copy

I banned 2 cards and have 2 Ulthok left...

What case should apply and is there something wrong with my analysis?

The first case is the correct one.
