Confirmed - buying with gold initiated a collection sync, whereas buying with plat did not. Previously I was attempting to trigger a sync by buying a cheap card for 3-4 plat.

If you do what Greenmachine mentioned, then you need to delete what's already in the file. The api.ini file should contain only the http://hex.tcgbrowser.com/sync?... line

Just synced.
  • Followed instructions for mac from: http://hex.tcgbrowser.com/tools/sync/
api.ini created, line added with api key, permissions to 777.
    Multiple client restarts
Tried buying from AH with both plat and with gold; got mail confirmations.
    Also played a draft
time elapsed ~1 hour

I'm not sure what pushed things through or what processing time is like.

tl;dr
sync is currently working; follow instructions, do everything, be patient.

So would I assume something's wrong if more than thirty times the amount of time you've specified has passed without a single change?

Today's patch should fix some problems with the API and also adds some new things like triggering the collection event right after the login. With this change, we can be sure the collection triggers, so if something is not working, we can rule that out at least.

I can't get anything to snyc. I put cards on auction and canceled them, i also bought some cards with gold. So it's either not working in those two cases or it's taking quite a while to update. My Collection is very small less than 1500 cards now, before one of the patches that broked the api i had 1255 cards listed on tcgbrowser.

I logged in with the new patch and api.ini in place (PC) and no sync yet. I'll wait another 30 mins, then try to buy stuff from AH.

It seems they have disabled this feature or else are syncing it via a different method than api.ini.
