Quest Strategy
I've been looking over top 8 deck lists of DMF decks seeing what's currently competitive. I have always constructed decks with the mindset of 1/4 should be quests (or now lands) -- keep in mind I played through the first 4-5 sets or so, took a big break, and am just coming back. But, most of the dec...

quick question about core cards
I think I know the answer, but just to be sure... Say one would like to put a card like "life tap" into their deck. They're not restricted to just the ones printed for the 2011 starter decks (for Worldbreaker block)? I mean to say, one could also put in one from Azeroth or promo since it's still the...

Ah, I was hoping that was the case, since the hero seemed "neutral" when it came to talents. I appreciate the info.

Classic format "shadow hero required"
When playing in classic format : If I have an ability that says "shadow hero required" can I use one of the newer heroes that do not list specialization or must I go to the older sets for a hero that still says "shadow hero" in their title line?

Re: Core-Legal garbage
Quick question about core: where can I find ruling on what sets are actually considered "core" currently? For the life of me I can't find this anywhere. One thing on topic however, I do like that DMF has a classic tourney. Should be fun. (P.S. "hairpuff" is my husband, I see he was under my login wh...

Re: Core-Legal garbage
Hey man, thanks for checking out my post. I agree with everything you said. They need to make money, and it does force people to devise new strategies. My problem is however, there are a few cards out there that I LOVE and have build entire decks around, and they were NOT reprinted or kept in the co...
