Combo question

Unread post by hairpuff » Wed Jun 29, 2011 10:39 am

I'm working on a deck that would incorporate the new dragonkin allies.
how would you interpret this combo?

http://www.wowtcgdb.com/carddetail.aspx?id=4079
This card is out in play.

This card is then used:
http://www.wowtcgdb.com/carddetail.aspx?id=596
or
http://www.wowtcgdb.com/carddetail.aspx?id=3260

Would that combo mean that the ally card that is used for that ability could have ferocity?
Or would you determine that it could only apply to an ally that is already in play (brought out on that turn obviously)?

Thanks in advance.

I can't get the sites to load for some reason. May be my crap ass connection right now. Can you put the names of the cards up as well so I can check it out?

The first card is Azure Magus

The next two are Ancestral Spirit & Ancestral Awakening

:?
This is a good question... I'm not sure of the answer but I'll try to follow the chain:
1: you play the ancestral awakening
2: you trigger the magus ability

So when resolving the chain, you should resolve the magnus modifier before the ancestral recall has been resolved.
I think you can't target the ally since it's not in play, so not a valid target for the modifier.

I've talked to a few people and that's their take on it. The ally can't be targeted yet, because it isn't in play yet.

Thanks alot man!

Ok, thanks for the feedback!
Too bad, this could have been quite aggressive :)
