Master Hero Question

So I just got a Aegwynn, Guardian of Tirisfal Master Hero. New to the game and my question is this:

To use a Master Hero do you have to have a basic non master version of that hero first? If so kinda sucks since I can't find any hero with her name

Master heroes are replacement for the hero. The master heroes can replace any hero you choose for your deck, no need to have anything in common between master hero and hero.
